The main goals of the OrthoLiga association are: combining scientific and practical achievements and coordinating the efforts of leading German specialist doctors in the field of sports traumatology, orthopedics and rehabilitation; providing patients with spine and joint dysfunctions with a wide range of German medicine possibilities. The German information and analytical magazine "Focus" annually publishes ratings of the best doctors in Germany. And traditionally, in the field of sports traumatology and orthopedics, top positions in the Focus magazine ratings are occupied by specialist doctors of the German Orthopedists Association OrthoLiga.

The treatment methods currently used allow OrthoLiga doctors to perform the most complex operations on the spine, ligaments and joints without extensive surgical interventions. Modern microsurgical equipment enables experienced orthopedic specialists to perform minimally invasive operations through small incisions, using computer technology and video equipment for control. The range of services of the German Orthopedists Association also includes joint prosthetics – that is, implantation of shoulder, hip, knee joint and intervertebral disc prostheses.
OrthoLiga doctors also specialize in pediatric orthopedics and traumatology. Treatment of the youngest patients with posture disorders and pathology of the musculoskeletal system in cerebral palsy is carried out in cooperation with neurologists and other specialized doctors of the children's clinic.

Experienced medical managers will process the request and within two to three days will send the patient an offer that includes several options for the cost of treatment. With an invariably high level of medical component of treatment, the patient can always choose from the options offered to him, in which clinic he will be treated – private or public, as well as choose hospitalization conditions – a double, single room or luxury apartments. For example, the total cost of anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction with Professor Michael Strobel at one of the private clinics in Munich is about €14,000, the same operation with Professor Strobel at the OrthoLiga clinic in Plattling will cost €8,500.
