MIBRAR® for Disc Herniation — Treatment Without Surgery

Disc herniation is one of the most common causes of back pain. The bulging of the nucleus pulposus compresses nerve roots, causing intense pain, numbness, and weakness in the limbs. MIBRAR® technology enables the regeneration of the damaged disc without surgery.

Disc Herniation: Why It Doesn't Heal on Its Own

The intervertebral disc is an avascular structure that receives nutrition through diffusion. With age and stress, the annulus fibrosus loses elasticity and ruptures, allowing the nucleus pulposus to protrude beyond the disc boundaries.

Problems with traditional treatment:

  • Conservative therapy — relieves pain but does not restore the disc
  • Microdiscectomy — removes the herniation but weakens the disc (recurrence rate 10–15%)
  • Spinal fusion — fixes vertebrae, permanently limiting mobility
  • PRP therapy — short-term anti-inflammatory effect

How MIBRAR® Restores the Disc

The ARK® concentrate contains stem cells and growth factors that, when injected into the damaged disc area:

  • Stimulate regeneration of the annulus fibrosus
  • Restore hydration of the nucleus pulposus

Procedure and Recovery

Treatment is performed on an outpatient basis in 1 day. Blood and adipose tissue collection, ARK® preparation, injection into the herniation zone under navigational control. The patient goes home the same day. Physical activity restrictions — 2–3 days.
